- 1) Set a date -Pick a definite quit date and stick to it. Make it a time when you don’t have too much on and won’t be under lots of stress.
- 2) Be positive - Remind yourself how you’re going to look and feel as a non-smoker
- 3) Find a quit buddy - Giving up with someone else can provide valuable support and a sympathetic ear. Alternatively, make sure you have an understanding friend or partner you can talk to
- 4) Treat yourself - Do lots of fun activities and treat yourself to take your mind off smoking. And remember to drink plenty of water.
